- Ali Charts identifies $1.54 as key resistance, with a breakout potentially targeting $1.70.
- XRP’s Q3 2026 gain reached 46.9%, while historical Q4 returns following green Q3s were mixed.

XRP is consolidating near $1.50 as analysts monitor a potential breakout above $1.54 and assess historical fourth-quarter performance. Ali Charts identifies $1.54 as the hourly resistance level for a possible 10% move toward $1.70. Meanwhile, Egrag Crypto’s historical data shows mixed Q4 outcomes following positive third quarters, despite XRP’s 46.9% gain in Q3 2026.
Ali Charts Identifies $1.54 as Breakout Level
According to Ali Charts, XRP appears to be forming a symmetrical triangle on the hourly chart. The analyst is watching for an hourly close above $1.54 to confirm a breakout.
If XRP clears that level, the pattern could support a move of approximately 10% toward $1.70. However, XRP currently trades near $1.504, below its 50-day moving average of $1.52.
The token remains above its 200-day moving average near $1.42. A move above $1.52 would bring the 1.55–1.60 resistance zone into focus, while $1.42 remains an important support level.
Egrag Crypto Examines XRP’s Q4 History
Egrag Crypto reported that XRP’s Q4 average return historically stands at 134.5%, while its median return is negative 9.2%. The analyst noted that several unusually large rallies skew the average.
Among Q4s following a green Q3, XRP recorded positive returns in four of 10 cases and declines in six. The four positive quarters returned 163.1%, 423.1%, 19.5% and 240.8%, respectively.
Egrag said this historical frequency is not a forecast, emphasizing the small sample. XRP’s Q3 2026 gain currently stands at 46.9%.
Network Activity Cools During Price Consolidation
XRP’s price rebounded from around 0.98–1.00 in mid-August, later reaching approximately 1.55–1.60. Daily active addresses peaked near 938,000 during the late-August breakout but have since fallen to roughly 17,300.

Meanwhile, the holder count continued rising from approximately 7.66 million to 8.18 million. XRP’s price recovery has therefore coincided with lower active-address readings. A failure to reclaim $1.52 could leave $1.42 vulnerable, with 1.30–1.35 as a deeper support area.
