Chainlink Adds $1.06M to Reserve as LINK Price Falls Toward $11.50

Chainlink has added 91,100 LINK worth about $1.06 million to its strategic reserve, according to Onchain Lens. The reserve gained 511,000 LINK, valued at roughly $5.52 million, over 30 days. Its total holdings now stand at 5.86 million LINK worth approximately $67.24 million, while analyst Michael van de Poppe watches lower LINK prices.

Chainlink Adds 91.1K LINK to Strategic Reserve

Onchain Lens reported the latest addition of 91.1K LINK to Chainlink’s strategic reserve. The purchase brings total reserve holdings to 5.86 million LINK. Over the past 30 days, the reserve accumulated 511,000 LINK worth about $5.52 million. 

The latest addition carried a reported value of approximately $1.06 million. The full reserve now holds LINK valued at roughly $67.24 million.

LINK Drops From September Rally Peak

LINK climbed from around $12 to $13.50-$13.60 on September 7. However, the token then formed lower highs and lower lows through $13, $12.50 and $12. A rebound on September 11 briefly pushed LINK above $12 before the move faced rejection.

Price later settled around $11.50, which became immediate support. LINK currently trades at $11.531, with the latest candle opening at $11.516. It reached $11.531 and recorded a low of $11.500. Volume stood near 4.98K LINK, showing relatively light activity in the latest candle.

Michael van de Poppe Watches Below $10.50

Van de Poppe identified two areas of interest for LINK, including a level below $10.50. He said he would consider buying the dip if Bitcoin makes a lower sweep. He also said he remains interested in any wick lower, while noting LINK has already been a strong runner. 

His comments came as LINK traded near $11.50. Meanwhile, RSI is at 46.99, with its moving average at 46.34. The RSI remains below 50 after recovering from weaker levels around September 10.

MACD remains negative, with the line at -0.036 below the signal line at -0.032. The histogram is near -0.004. The provided levels place support around $11.00-$11.20, with resistance at $11.80-$12.00 and then $12.50.
