  • Cardano recorded 413 transactions worth at least $100,000, marking its highest whale activity since June 4.
  • ADA’s market cap rose 42% as its price climbed from about $0.19 to $0.27 before pulling back.
  • ADA faces resistance at $0.254, while $0.233 remains key structural support aligned with its 200-day moving average.

Cardano has seen its strongest whale activity since June as ADA’s market cap climbed 42% since Sept. 16. Santiment Intelligence reported 413 transactions worth at least $100,000 in one day, while ADA’s social dominance reached 1.16%. The rise followed ADA’s move from about $0.19 to $0.27 alongside several Cardano developments.

Cardano Whale Activity Hits June High

According to Santiment Intelligence, large ADA transactions surged to 413 in one day. That marked the highest whale activity since June 4. At the same time, Cardano’s social dominance reached 1.16%. Santiment said this was ADA’s highest social dominance level of 2026.

ADA’s move from roughly $0.19 to $0.27 also brought the asset back into wider market discussions. Meanwhile, several developments have contributed to the latest increase in attention. RealFi launched on Cardano’s mainnet on Oct. 1.

Santiment also pointed to anticipation around Leios, Fireblocks support and new institutional integrations. Those developments accompanied the largest Cardano discussion spike of the year, according to Santiment. The price structure also shows a recovery from levels recorded earlier this year.

ADA Tests $0.254 After September Rally

ADA currently trades near $0.252, slightly below its 50-day moving average at $0.254. However, it remains above the 200-day moving average at $0.233. From late June, ADA formed a base between $0.139 and $0.158.

Price then established higher highs and higher lows through August and September. The rally pushed ADA above $0.196, then $0.215 and later $0.233. Price eventually reached roughly 0.27-0.28 before pulling back toward $0.252.

The $0.254 50-day moving average now marks immediate resistance. A sustained move above it would put 0.27-0.28 back in focus.

$0.233 Remains Key Structural Support

The $0.233 level currently aligns with ADA’s 200-day moving average. Holding above that level would preserve the broader recovery structure shown on the chart. However, a sustained break below $0.233 could expose $0.215.

The latest pullback therefore leaves $0.254 and $0.233 as the key levels. Volume also increased during major upward moves, showing stronger trading activity. Overall, the chart describes ADA as medium-term bullish while short-term momentum has weakened.
