Bitcoin analyst Doctor Profit has set a new $94,000 target after closing his short position at $80,600 and buying more BTC. Meanwhile, analyst Darkfost identified 84,000–85,000 as the largest distribution cluster, with 53% of invested capital positioned above $83,000. Both analysts highlighted price levels that could shape Bitcoin’s next move.
Doctor Profit Targets $94K After Closing His Short
Doctor Profit said he bought Bitcoin at $60,000 and previously targeted $88,000. He identified $82,500 as the level that would confirm the end of the bear market, followed by a quick move toward $88,000.
After Bitcoin reached that target area, he opened a short position around $86,200. He also placed additional short orders between $86,500 and $89,500, expecting a correction within the bull market.
Bitcoin subsequently fell to $80,300. Doctor Profit closed his entire short at $80,600, realized profits, and bought more spot Bitcoin at the same price.
He cited bearish divergences in the daily RSI, MACD/PPO, and MFI indicators, alongside weakening trend strength shown by ADX. However, he said he no longer expects Bitcoin to fall to $79,000.
Darkfost Identifies Bitcoin’s $85K Resistance Zone
Darkfost reported that 53% of capital invested in Bitcoin entered the market above $83,000. According to the analyst, this positions buyers at that price below more than half of investors’ entry levels.
Darkfost identified the 84,000–85,000 range as Bitcoin’s largest distribution cluster. He said investors frequently react around this zone, making it a level Bitcoin needs to break.
Below the current price area, Darkfost highlighted 79,000–77,000 as a potential support range. His analysis places this zone below the $80,300 low recorded during the latest correction.
Bitcoin Needs to Reclaim 86K–89.5K
Doctor Profit said Bitcoin must recover the region where he accumulated his short position to reach $94,000. He expects spot demand around $86,000 and accumulation between $86,000 and $89,000, rather than renewed selling.
He said this shift could turn resistance into support. Doctor Profit also noted that he shared his short-position closure update on X two hours later, when Bitcoin had already reached $82,000.
