On September 12, 2024, Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced the addition of Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) to its Launchpool platform.
This move allows Binance users to farm HMSTR tokens and trade them starting later this month. The gaming token, a recent entrant into the market, is set to gain significant attention with its inclusion on Binance’s platform.
Beginning September 19, 2024, Binance users can participate in the token farming process for Hamster Kombat. The farming process will involve locking Binance Coin (BNB) and First Digital USD (FDUSD) in designated pools.
The farming period will last for seven days, concluding on September 25, 2024. During this time, participants will accumulate HMSTR tokens as rewards.
Binance has allocated 3% of the total HMSTR token supply, which amounts to 3 billion tokens, for the Launchpool rewards. Of these, 85% (2.55 billion HMSTR) will be distributed to users who lock BNB, while the remaining 15% (450 million HMSTR) will be awarded to FDUSD holders.
The daily distribution during the farming period will see 364.3 million HMSTR tokens allocated to the BNB pool, with 64.3 million tokens allocated to the FDUSD pool.
Following the conclusion of the farming period, Binance will list Hamster Kombat on its exchange platform, with trading set to commence on September 26, 2024, at 12:00 UTC.
The HMSTR token will be available in several trading pairs, including HMSTR/USDT, HMSTR/BNB, HMSTR/FDUSD, and HMSTR/TRY. It will also carry a “seed” tag, indicating that it is a newly listed token on the exchange.
This latest addition to Binance’s Launchpool underscores the platform’s ongoing efforts to spotlight emerging projects and offer its users new opportunities for participation in the cryptocurrency market.
