Charles Hoskinson Praises XRP Leadership, Criticizes Hex Founder

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, posted recently, showing support for XRP and its team and community. He pointed out their hard work and consistency and also stressed that the main idea is created by people with no skeletons in the closet. 

Hoskinson’s endorsement of XRP is still intact, even as he proceeds to draw a comparison to other projects filled with allegations and scandals. Passive Regulation is something that Ripple possesses and this made his endorsement to carry the token based on the improvement of XRP’s image regarding illicit usage. 

Ripple Leadership Free from Major Controversies 

In his remarks, Hoskinson noted that Ripple’s founders remain untouched by controversies such as fraud cases that have tainted other figures in the cryptocurrency space. He pointed out how some crypto leaders have even attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies like Interpol. 

The Cardano founder has previously criticized the XRP community, accusing them of being influenced by unfounded allegations involving Ethereum’s involvement in Ripple’s legal troubles. However, his recent comments mark a significant shift, indicating reconciliation with the XRP community. 

Shift in Relationship Between Hoskinson and XRP 

Hoskinson and the XRP community have had a tumultuous relationship in the past. Allegations that Ethereum influenced the SEC’s 2020 lawsuit against Ripple fueled disagreements. Yet, in November, Hoskinson took steps to mend ties by publicly apologizing during a livestream. This gesture was seen as pivotal in ending tensions between him and the Ripple team. 

Despite the reconciliation, some online users were quick to remind Hoskinson of his previous stance. One individual highlighted a past comment of his, posting it alongside the caption, “Say what?” 

Criticism of Hex and Its Founder 

In contrast to his praise for XRP, Hoskinson took a critical stance against Richard Heart, the founder of Hex and PulseChain. He has been in the news recently after Interpol issued a red notice for him for allegedly extorting $12,000,000 from users. The notice was given after he was charged by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over fraud and violation of rules on securities. 

Hoskinson has actively distanced himself from Hex and PulseChain. He recently announced his ethical obligation to block any profiles on X associated with these projects, describing their supporters as out of touch with reality. 

Hoskinson’s contrasting remarks underscore the importance of ethical leadership in the cryptocurrency space. While applauding XRP for its clean and purposeful direction, he sent a strong message about the dangers of associating with scandal-plagued figures like Richard Heart.
