  • Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin will reach $100,000 by the end of the year and is planning a celebration for the milestone.
  • Despite a recent dip, 36% of Polymarket bettors believe Bitcoin will hit $100,000 soon, supporting Saylor’s optimistic outlook.
  • Saylor advocates for a U.S. Bitcoin reserve, a move he believes would significantly boost Bitcoin’s value.

Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, shared an optimistic outlook on Bitcoin’s price trajectory during a recent interview with CNBC, projecting that it could soar to $100,000 by the end of this year. Dismissing the possibility of a dip back to $30,000, Saylor is already planning a celebration to mark the milestone, eyeing a New Year’s Eve bash as the likely date for Bitcoin to break this record high.

Bitcoin’s Journey and Predictions

After Bitcoin’s price touched a peak of $93,477 this Wednesday, it experienced a slight retreat, landing below the $87,000 mark by Friday. Despite this fluctuation, bettors on Polymarket remain cautiously optimistic, with 36% foreseeing Bitcoin reaching the $100,000 threshold in November. Saylor’s forecast aligns with the broader bullish sentiment, even as the derivatives market hints at a cooling rally, according to Bloomberg’s latest financial analysis.

U.S. Bitcoin Reserve: A Future Possibility?

Taking it even a step further, Saylor began to push for a Bitcoin reserve by the United States, arguing the country could own cyberspace with it. While Mike Novogratz, an important personality on the crypto scene, considers this concept ambitious and far-fetched, he admitted that if the former is to be realized, it might bring Bitcoin’s price to $500,000.

This comes with the persistence of volatilities that surround Bitcoin in the market, a view that has made Saylor offer his assertion. People in the cryptocurrency world and investors, as the year goes on, are waiting to see if Saylor’s predictions will come through and make the $100,000 party happen.
