Ripple Prime Expands Services for Brevan Howard

Under the expanded agreement, Ripple Prime will provide prime brokerage, clearing and financing services to Brevan Howard funds. The services cover multiple asset classes and products across traditional and digital markets.

According to Ripple, the platform is designed to improve capital efficiency and simplify operations. The company said the expanded arrangement responds to demand for prime brokerage across both market segments.

Brevan Howard is a global alternative investment manager specializing in global macro and digital assets. Its funds will now have access to the broader set of services through Ripple Prime.

Executives Outline the Expanded Relationship

Noel Kimmel, President of Ripple Prime, said Brevan Howard’s expanded relationship reflects its confidence in Ripple Prime’s cross-asset capabilities. He also described the arrangement as a long-term commitment between the two firms.

Meanwhile, Alan McGroarty, Group COO of Brevan Howard, said traditional and digital markets are becoming more connected. He said institutional investors need digital asset infrastructure that provides a seamless experience.

McGroarty added that Ripple’s platform is expected to give Brevan Howard’s investment teams greater operational ease and capital efficiency. His comments followed the expansion of the existing relationship between the firms.

Deal Builds on Brevan Howard Support

The expanded agreement also follows Brevan Howard’s previous involvement with Ripple. Funds managed by Brevan Howard affiliates participated in Ripple’s $500 million strategic investment in 2025.

Ripple said the investment involved Fortress and Citadel Securities and valued the company at $40 billion. The company described the participation as reflecting confidence in its growth trajectory and long-term vision.

The new agreement therefore adds prime brokerage, clearing and financing services to an existing relationship. Ripple Prime will now serve Brevan Howard funds across traditional and digital markets through its platform.
