Hamster Kombat has officially announced the distribution of 60 billion tokens to qualified players in its first season. The popular Web3-based clicker game, which is part of the growing trend of blockchain gaming, applied a strict set of criteria to determine player eligibility.

As a result, only 43% of the game’s 300 million users met the necessary requirements, leaving 131 million players eligible to receive tokens.

Out of the 100 billion tokens created for the Hamster Kombat project, 75 billion are set aside for community rewards. In this first phase, 60 billion tokens will be distributed, with the remaining 15 billion allocated for future releases.

From the first season’s airdrop, approximately 53.25 billion tokens will be released immediately, with 88.75% of the total distribution available to qualified users. The remaining 6.75 billion tokens are reserved for delayed distribution.

The developers have confirmed that the remaining 11.25% of tokens will be vested and distributed ten months after the tokens are listed on exchanges. This approach ensures that engaged players benefit from the airdrop, while others will have future opportunities to receive tokens in the next seasons.

Hamster Kombat has rapidly gained traction in the Web3 gaming space. Since its launch, the game has drawn over 239 million users within just 81 days, highlighting its role as a gateway to the world of digital currencies. Telegram founder Pavel Durov praised the game’s impact on blockchain adoption, noting its ability to onboard new users into the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

The successful combination of gaming and blockchain technology positions Hamster Kombat as a major player in the push for broader Web3 adoption.

The airdrop, designed to reward active participation, further strengthens the game’s role in the Web3 landscape by incentivizing user engagement while promoting the use of digital assets.
