This collaboration introduces a new feature allowing users to book rides via a Telegram Mini App and make payments using the TON blockchain. Users in Singapore can now complete their rides using either Toncoin (TON) or Tether (USDT), expanding the use of cryptocurrencies in real-world applications.
Tada Expands Reach with Crypto-Powered Payments
Founded in 2018, Tada operates in several Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. The company plans to extend its reach to Hong Kong by the end of 2024. Notably, Tada’s zero-commission policy has made it popular among both drivers and riders, providing a cost-effective alternative to other platforms. With this new integration, Tada introduces another layer of convenience by allowing riders to pay in cryptocurrency, following the recent launch of Tether’s USDT on the TON network in April 2024.
