As per Lookonchain, Crypto investment products saw a sharp rise this week, with ETF inflows surging across Bitcoin and Ethereum. On April 23, Bitcoin ETFs registered a net inflow of 9,882 BTC, totaling $919.84 million. Ethereum ETFs also gained traction, bringing in 8,156 ETH worth $14.62 million. ARK21Shares led the Bitcoin ETF charge, now holding 50,181 BTC valued at $4.67 billion. Meanwhile, Fidelity dominated Ethereum ETF inflows with 19,235 ETH, boosting its total holdings to 382,760 ETH, valued at $686.29 million.

This marks a shift from April 22, when Ethereum ETFs recorded a net outflow of 438 ETH. Grayscale’s ETHE saw a withdrawal of 320 ETH, despite holding 1.17 million ETH. Hence, investor sentiment seems to have pivoted sharply overnight, driven by renewed optimism in the crypto market.

Altcoin ETFs Await SEC Nod

Besides BTC and ETH, the ETF landscape is expanding rapidly. Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas noted that 72 crypto ETFs are now pending SEC approval. These include mainstream cryptocurrencies like XRP, Solana, and Litecoin, along with meme-driven assets like Dogecoin and even 2x Melania (MELANIA).

The diversity of pending ETFs shows how investor appetite spans both utility tokens and speculative plays. Firms such as Tuttle Capital are pushing boundaries, signaling a demand-driven wave that regulators must address soon.

XRP Forecasted to Hit $12.50 by 2028

XRP stands out among the upcoming altcoin ETF candidates. Standard Chartered projects a $12.50 price target by 2028. This forecast suggests a potential 500% rise from XRP’s current level. The bank’s head of digital assets, Geoffrey Kendrick, detailed a roadmap with milestones: $5.50 in 2025, $8 in 2026, and $10.40 in 2027.

A spot XRP ETF, anticipated by Q3 2025, may catalyze this growth. Kendrick estimates $4–8 billion in inflows within the first year. Moreover, Ripple’s push into stablecoins and tokenization adds long-term value.
